Karaoke bars are no longer small venues with a cheap machine in the center and poor quality audio, they’ve become big business around the world. One of the latest bars to pop up on the international radar is the K Star Karaoke bar in Singapore. Touted as a themed bar, yet designed to be affordable, K Star has quickly turned itself into a must see venue for all karaoke lovers visiting Singapore.
If you’re just visiting with a small group of friends you’ll find that space is no problem, their smallest rooms accommodate up to 6 singers, while their largest rooms can hold up to an impressive 35. But they do offer plenty of room sizes in between and each room has its own individual theme, a great enticement to come back and check out the other rooms. Their rates aren’t too high either with their smaller 6 room starting at a quite modest price.
The majority of the rooms have a distinctly Asian style which can be expected given the origin of karaoke and K Star’s location in Singapore. But not to worry if you don’t speak any of the Asian languages, there’s plenty of songs in English that you can sing along to. Some of the rooms have such fantastic designs that they have to be seen to be believed, and the designers clearly put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that each room will leave guests with a long lasting impression that won’t be forgotten for years to come.
